Under The Fathers Wings

There has been a time and still is in some ,feelings of guilt,

about something that we have done in our lives. None of us

have escaped guilt at one time or the other . When we

do something wrong, we feel guilty about it. In some cases

the feeling of guilt is way out of line, in proportion to the

wrong or act that we have done, that precipitated the

guilty feelings. If this guilt is because of a sin we have

committed , the only way to relieve ourselves of this

guilt is to confess our sin to God and ask His

forgiveness. If we have sinned against someone

then if it is possible ,ask that person to forgive you,

if for some reason that is not possible, then go to God

and ask Him to take the guilt. I have found we

have a tougher time forgiving ourselves ,than God has

forgiving us. Forgiveness is the only cleaning agent

that can remove guilt and a guilty feeling about a sin.

If we have done the above ,then we know that

the feeling of guilt, is coming from our enemy satan,

that is when we rebuke satin in the name of Jesus

and stand on the word of God.

As we see here we are guilty , when we sin, the

magnitude of the sin doesn't matter little or big it

is all the same to God, It is we, not God that

scores sin. He tells us that, sin is sin, that all

Sin does not always mean that we are doing wrong,

but sin can be simply not doing the right thing.

When we know that the God has spoken to us to

do something as he told Jonah and we don't do it

then that is sin. Sin doesn't always means we

have a guilty conscience, like Jonah we can

go to sleep in rebellion to what God has spoken

to us and think just because our conscience is clear

that we are doing right. My friend we can't rely

on this we can only rely on what God's word say's.

If we don't judge sin in this way then we are guilty.

We can avoid the consequence of guilt of wrong

doing by not sinning as much as possible, but

when we do we confess our sin and ask God

to forgive us right then. God grace is so wonderful

that when or if we will accept God's free gift

of salvation, and this means that believing

that God sent His son Jesus, to die for our sins

and if we do that then God says that we are no

guilty. He tell us that our sins are as far as the

east to the west no more to be remembered. Can

you imagine , that means no matter how raunchy

we might have been ,now we are whiter than snow.

Our sins will never be counted against us Hallelujah!

Praise The Lord! There may be a high price to pay

for acknowledging our guilt and admitting our guilt ,

but it is an even higher cost if we don't. We have

to be sincere in confessing our sins, it cant be like a

thief that confesses and saying he is sorry just

because he got caught. That my friend is not the

kind of sorry God is talking about, he is talking

about true gut wrenching sorry.

We see here that Jobs friends kept assuming that

he was guilty of some sins, that had caused his troubles.

Have you ever been guilty of jumping to conclusions as

Jobs friend did? I am sure being human we have been

guilty , thank God that he is forgiving. But like Jobs

friends we have to be careful of pointing fingers. We

have to learn as the discerner and the discernee to

discern were the trouble is coming from and not feel

guilty or place guilt were it doesn't belong. We must

learn the difference between true and false guilt, if we

don't satan will keep us wrapped up in feelings of guilt.

He will use anything and everything to cause us to

feel guilty. That is his job! We can better deal with

our guilt ,if we develop an attitude of not assuming

everyone else is guilty. I have had people ask me how

not to feel guilty when they loose a loved one, somehow

they fell guilty for one reason or the other, well all I

can say is if you have prayed and confessed you have

been freed from guilty , so just tell satan to go on

down the road ,that guilt doesn't live here anymore,

The one thing satan wants to do is wrap us in such

guilt that we have sinned, that we stop going to God

in prayer, he know that if that happens he can break

our relationship with God. So in closing please let

us discern were we are with feelings of guilt if there is

sin then confess them to God and be cleansed ,and if

the guilt is coming from satan rebuke him in the name

of Jesus and go forward with God free of Guilt.

Father God I come to you on the name of Jesus

I thank you that you have taught us what to do with

any guilt we may have. Help us Lord to be able to

discern where the feelings of guilt comes from teach

us to know the difference. Lord I ask that this lesson

will bring healing to thoughts who are struggling with

guilt. Help us as friends to not jump to conclusions, that

we will be true friends and not Job kind of friends.

Thank you Lord for your promise that no matter what ,

we can come to you in prayer and confess our sin of

commission and omission and you are faithful to forgive

and restore us in right standing with you Father God.

Let us be aware each day that you are the King of Kings

And the Lord of Lord. Our soon coming King.

Help us to point the way to the living waters to be

your hands extended.
