Stage Plays

I've included a brief description of each play. Clicking on the name of a play will take you the play. Please understand that all times are estimates and you should time the play yourself if you want a more exact figure. A separate link to director's notes has been included for each play.

Legal stuff:

This is mostly reiterated from the home page, so I'll be brief. "The Executioner" is the legal property of Christian Life Worship Center in Clive, Iowa. Any special permission required to perform that piece will need to be given by them.

As far as I am aware, if you do not charge admission, you may use anything you find in here, even "The Executioner" without any written or verbal consent, even if it was demanded. If you do charge admission, you will need permission. Except for "The Executioner", you have complete permission as far as the performance rights go, even if you charge admission. To that extent, you may print out the play and make as many copies as you need. All rights are limited to performance rights and not publishing rights. You do not have any publishing rights for anything on this web site. I request recognition as the author, but do not mandate it, however you may not at any time pass them off as belonging to someone else.

Conversation With God

A new Christian learns the joys of prayer. An honest conversation with God that deals with how we can turn the joy of Christian living into a dull and tedious affair.

The Dream

A dream I had that I turned into a play. It's about how much God loves us even when we sin.

The Executioner

A Christian living apathetically in his walk with Christ, learns how intensely God desires a relationship with him when he is transported into the body of another who had direct contact with Jesus Christ during Jesus' time on Earth.

The Fourth Wall

A play within a play. 3 performers are presenting a play with a basic salvation message. They're trapped within 4 walls and they want to know how to get out. The problem is they, and others, keep messing up. The play outside the play involves the director dealing with the performers and the others in trying to put this play on successfully.

The Game

How would you feel if you were playing a trivia game, and every question was about you? How would you feel if you didn't know the answers? 6 game players are presented with a mysterious game that reveals things about them they didn't necessarily want to know, or want others to know. My personal favorite.

Tell Me Why

The first moments of someone in Hell.

The Trial

A king/queen, a preacher and a thief go on trial before God for their eternal destinies.
