I fought over what to name this segment: Essays, sermons, stories, random thoughts, extra letters lying around on my keyboard that had no other home of their own, and other things. Eventually I just left it as essays because it encompasses anything I put here for any reason.

I'm a creative thinker and a storyteller. I try to keep these focused, but sometimes they kind of wander around. I reserve the freedom to update these as I see fit.
